Reading/ Language Arts Science We have stepped away from our poetry unit to enjoy a novel study. We are reading the novel Volcano, by Betsy Byars. The students are really enjoying the story and group discussions. The meteorologists of Room 205 have been doing an amazing job report the news on our morning announcements. Mathematics Next Tuesday we will be having our final test in Social Studies. We have been working on taking notes and reviewing vocabulary. Next week we will be receiving delivery on our meal worms!! This week we have continued our work with subtraction. We have been using several strategies in solving subtraction problems. The students have been using number lines to solve the problems.
