Birthday Book Club!
Happy Birthday __________________________from the May Whitney Library!
Please consider celebrating your child’s birthday by sponsoring a new book in our
school’s library. It is a wonderful way to remember your child’s special day, and
your gift will be shared and enjoyed by May Whitney students for years to come!
If you decide you would like your child to participate, he/she will come to the
library and choose from a selection of quality titles, already selected to be
appropriate for our school library. We will include a personalized bookplate with
your child’s name and birth date for this year on the book. Your child will have the
first opportunity to check out their birthday book. When the book is returned, it
will become part of May Whitney’s permanent library collection. In addition, your
child’s photo will be on display, on the Birthday Book Club Bulletin Board, in the
library.
If you would like to have your child’s birthday honored with a book, please complete
the information below, and return this paper, with $13.00, to the May Whitney
Library. Cash and checks are accepted. Checks can be made payable to May
Whitney PTO. Your payment is used to replenish the birthday book collection.
