Dear Parents,
I am writing to inform you of an exciting on-line technology that we are utilizing
in the library. All students at Isaac Fox have developed blogs. A blog is an
electronic journal that students create and maintain in order to share
accomplishments and reflect on school learning experiences. Students will be
adding blog entries throughout the school year. In order to access your child’s
blog, please see the appropriate grade level page and correct teacher link.
All blogs are private and can only be accessed via the password assigned. Please
ask your child for log-in assistance. Entries and comments are submitted for
review prior to being posted.
I believe this experience will be beneficial in equipping your child with the skills
needed to function independently and responsibly within a global, digital
community. It is my intention to foster a positive attitude toward using
technology that supports collaboration, learning and productivity. If you have any
questions or encounter difficulties accessing your child’s blog, please do not
