“To provide a safe and
supportive environment in
which all students actively
participate in the learning
process and are challenged
to reach their full potential.
The High School Learning
Community fosters character
development while creating
well-rounded, lifelong
learners who will become
productive citizens through
a partnership that engages
the entire local community.”
FERPA

reached the age of 18 and/or are
attending a postsecondary
institution) certain rights with
respect to the student’s education
records. Under FERPA, Lake
Zurich High School will generally
afford parents and eligible
students:
• access to their education
records
• an opportunity to seek to
have the records amended
• some control over the
disclosure of information
from the records
Disciplinary Records
Policy
• District #95 does not share
student disciplinary records
with post-secondary
institutions.
