Columbia Brew Bus LLC ­ Summer 2016 Communications Internship Columbia Brew Bus is seeking to hire organized, driven interns to help our team thrive during the busy summer months. Interns will put their skills to work in helping fine­tune communication with the public through marketing and advertising, as well as bolster relationships with our brewery and distillery partners. Our ideal candidate is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit looking to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the inner workings of a small business and excited to work in the up­and­coming business sector of brewery tourism. Position details: ­ Flexible part­time hours (about 20 hours per week) ­ Unpaid, but interns will be compensated for personal expenses on the job ­ Will be paid the company tour guide rate for all tours shadowed/conducted ­ Start date: June 3, 2016; end date: August 21, 2016 Primary Intern Duties: ­ Evaluate current public communication strategies and help create new ones ­ Assist in streamlining/maintaining quality interactions with customers and breweries ­ Develop relationships/partner with other local businesses ­ Shadow brewery tour guides and eventually conduct their own tours Requirements: ­ Must be at least 21 years of age and working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mass communications, public relations, advertising or a related field ­ Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), Google Drive and basic photo editing skills ­ Must be willing to learn in depth about the craft beer industry and the brewing process About Us​
