Remember: lejos= far away, so use (aquel, aquella, aquellos, aquellas)

1. What was her reason? She bought the sweater because it fit her perfectly (queda
bien).
E. Reading. The test has reading passages with multiple-choice
comprehension questions. Rank Level 2 has less answer choices than Rank
Level 1.
Open up your etext and go to p. 125.
Look at the Leer (reading) section. Read the paragraph in purple.
1. What did Susi buy? (Give details)
__She bought a pastel colored blouse and a leather belt.
2. What did she think about her purchases?
She likes the blouse because it is in style and the belt because it goes well with her
favorite pants.
E. Writing section. Describe three clothing articles/items that you are wearing
today. Talk about all the details that you can (i.e. brand, color, style). Rank
Level 1 is graded harsher on grammar and I expect you to write more than the
prompt’s requirements.
Please note, colors must agree with the nouns they modify.
For example: las botas negras, el vestido azul, los zapatos verdes, el suéter blanco,
etc…
Also note, materials (i.e. cotton, wool, leather, synthetic fabric) never change.
They are just followed by the word “de.”
For example: las botas de cuero, el suéter de lana, los pantalones de tela sintética, la
camiseta de algodón
Here is an example of a quality prompt:Hola! Hoy llevo las botas negras de cuero
y el vestido azul claro de algodón. También, llevo un anillo de plata y una chaqueta
negra de lana. Yo compré mi ropa en Old Navy.
