Relation­ is a set of one or more ordered pairs
Domain­ is the set of all first elements or x­coordinates ( x­ values ) – the set of all possible input values

Another way to test to see if a relation is a function is by
using the vertical line test .
If any vertical line passes through more than one point of the
graph, the relation is NOT a function.
