Registration Cancellation. Using the Registration Cancellation process, colleges and universities shall cancel student registration for all credit courses unless on of the following conditions has been met: • The student has paid at least 15% of the Tuition and Fee due or made a $300 down payment towards tuition and fees • An Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) has been received by the college or university • The student has enrolled in an approved tuition and fee payment plan • The student has received an approved deferral at the college or university; or • The student has received an approved waiver at least equal to the amount of tuition and fees Handy Glossary ISIR: “Institutional Student Information Record”; sent electronically to the schools (up to 6) selected by student when completing their FAFSA Incomplete Financial Aid: any financial aid status less than 970 (ready for payment) 770 status: the student has taken action and an award letter is being processed AR Policy Possible Course of Action • Change ISIR to award letter • At -15 (fifteen business days before the start of the semester), those students who want the seat will re-register • Those students who don’t have the intent to attend will be dropped and allow for someone who wants the seat to claim it • A significant portion of student complaints would disappear Letter from a state rep: Drawbacks: overall seats sold would likely decrease Counterpoint: these seats are hard to convert to cash • • Act of registration unclear ISIR only students being hurt by policy Improved Student Communications • Sufficient language, but currently students receive no confirmation email upon registering • No form of payment required Improved Student Communications • Jason Dorsett< jasonrdorsett@gmail.com> Expectations are that a confirmation is sent We've received: Life of Pi 1 message Netflix< discship@netflix.com> To: jasonrdorsett@gmail.com Wed, Nov 6, 2013 at 6:08 AM Info@stcroixcleaners.com< Info@stcroixcleaners.com> Browse | Suggestions | Queue Received: Life of Pi To: jasonrdorsett@gmail.com Rate Life of Pi: Dear Jason, Next up in your Queue (84 titles): 1.
