You are in secretly in love with a guy or girl who you think is just
perfect in every way. (We’ll call this person “Randy”). However,
you are insecure about your appearance and feel that Randy is
completely out of your league. Meanwhile, you find out that
Randy likes your best friend. (We’ll call your friend “Chris”).
Chris is ecstatic, but also very nervous because Randy loves great
conversations and beautiful writing (especially skilled
vocabulary usage), and Chris is more of a math person and
insecure about his/her ability to write well or talk for long
periods of time on the phone. Chris knows that you LOVE English
and are very skilled at writing and speaking. Chris asks you to
help him or her get Randy by talking on the phone and writing
letters to Randy in his/her place.
