a medical emergency. Hoping to have these completed by the end of
October.
B. Brief question and answer period with Mr. Bowen:
a. School PA score card? Mr. Bowen indicated he will address this
issue at the November meeting.
b. School wide positive behavior program, former program by Mrs.
Justice? Mr. Bowen indicated he would definitely like to have a
positive behavior program. Time is needed to implement and he has
promised staff no big changes this year. If not this year, we would
hope for next year.
c. Halloween parties, is it okay to say Halloween? Okay to say…up to
Pricipal’s discretion what type of party. At holiday time, have to
include Christian and Jewish holidays, etc. Hoping to do surveys
soon to see feedback on this and other issues. What do want at
the school in this regard? In other regards overall for school?
d. Communication with parents? Mr. Bowen indicates he prefers a
paperless system. His goal is to start a Sunday message, he is
currently finding the best system to reach the most families. May

plan. Won’t go paperless if not what parents want!! His email for
contacting: bowenwc@npenn.org
