Volunteers are Needed! Volunteers Help Teachers and Together They Help Students The North Penn Volunteer Aide Program provides a vital service for both staff and students. There are a variety of ways that you can become involved. Please read on to find ways you can make a difference. Classroom Aide – Duties are determined by the needs of each teacher. They may include copying, preparing materials for instruction, filing, setting up displays, and numerous other nonteaching services. This is different from a homeroom parent – you will not be placed with your child’s teacher. This is usually a one or two hour per week commitment. Library Aide – Under the guidance of the librarian, volunteers assist in cataloging and shelving of books. Please circle the areas that you are interested in, complete the information below, and return this form to the school office.
