This committee was also made responsible for student discipline in the departments like usage of mobile phones and dress code etc. This exercise will also be repeated during next academic year to ensure discipline amongst students. Proctorial system has been strengthened. Three meetings have been conducted in each semester with proctors and all issues pertaining to students were discussed in detail and all measures have been taken to address these issues. SIS (Student information system) has been put back to action with all data being fed in time for reference to parents and other stakeholders. Reports on student performance and attendance have been generated and sent to respective parents for reference and necessary action. SMS alert system is also put in place where parents receive reports on their ward's performance in internal sessional exams and also the attendance. Parents also permitted to access this information on web by using the id and password being given by the institution. Parents have expressed their satisfaction on all these features. There is a need to strengthen this system further, which is already in process.
