In accordance with Board Policy 409 (Student Activities Budget for Student Programs) the president of the college hereby authorizes expenditures to selected students for participation in student government, student activities board, and intercollegiate athletics as stipulated in this procedure. Expenditures will be made from the

Service & Activities Fund and will follow the guidelines of RCW 28B.15.041 (service and activities fees), RCW

28B.15.045 (guidelines for funding service and activity fee supported programs), RCW 28B.10.703 and RCW

28B.10.704 (participation in athletics or activities related to performing arts).

STUDENT PROGRAMS FINANCIAL AWARDS

The following financial awards may be granted by the college from the Service & Activities (S&A) Fund, for value received through participation in said organization .

Any payments to students for the purposes provided in this regulation must be approved by the Vice President for Student Services and the Assistant Director of

Student Programs.

Members of Student Government and Programming Board shall receive a stipend not to exceed full resident tuition and fees per quarter for not more than three (3) quarters, excluding summer quarter. Full resident tuition is equivalent to ten (10) credits of resident tuition.
