• Right click attachment icon, choose
Save As, decide where you want to
save the file, then Save
• Tools – Options – Environment –
Default Actions – File Attachments:
Choose Open Attachment (like the old
Lotus Notes “launch”)
• Same location but Message
Attachments:
Open in New Window OR View in
existing window
• RIGHT Click on Cabinet Icon –
Choose New Folder – then drag the
message to the folder.
• Tools – Options – Environment –
Views – Default Compose and Default
Read (set both to HTML).
• Compose a new message, Change the
settings to what you desire, and then
Right Click in the formatting toolbar
and choose Set Current Font as Default
• Tools – Options – Environment –
Default Actions – HTML Reply Format

click on the message – Click the

Name Completion Search Order and
make your selection.
• Go to Address Book – Right Click next
to the title NAME – click on Sort –
Select Last Name – Put a dot in “Sort
all ascending” – Click OK
• Click Tools – Options – Environment
– General Tab – Put a Check mark in
“Check spelling before send”
How can I forward a message?
There are two ways to forward a message.
You can forward a message as an
attachment or you can forward a message
in the body of the e-mail (the way Lotus
Notes does). Groupwise will remember
how you last forwarded a message and
will continue using the same method until
you change it. Click the black triangle
next to the Forward button to access the
options.

To make your Frequent Contacts your
Personal Address Book: GO to the
Address Book – Right Click on Frequent
Contacts – Select Properties – Click
Options – Uncheck “Delete address not
referenced within this time period” –
Click OK

Customize Toolbar in Groupwise
I’m in Word (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.),
and when I try to save I get a box that
says “Document Save As.” I want it to
be the OLD way.
• TASKS or TO DO’s are carried
forward to the next day if they are not
checked off as completed.
• If TASKS are carried over to another
day, they appear in RED to indicate
they are incomplete.
• No Table insertion into Groupwise, but
you can type it up in Word and then
paste it into Groupwise.
• Right Click on the a blank section of
the gray toolbar in the main window –
Choose Customize Toolbar – Put a dot
in Pictures and Text
• Click Tools – Options – Documents –
Integrations – Remove the check mark
in the box labeled Enable Integrations
