WHAT: Wear green and bring your favorite book
WHEN: Thursday, May 26, 2016
WHY: This will be a day to celebrate Spring, reading, and conserving
energy!
Here are some other ideas to help with saving energy:
 Use natural light whenever possible
 Unplug items that are not being used… pencil sharpener, hole
puncher, etc.
 Open windows for fresh air instead of ceiling fans
Each grade level will turn off the lights and use natural
light (indoors or outdoors) to enjoy 15 minutes of
independent silent reading – you pick the time.
