INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM
'The mission of the Intensive English Program within the EPCC
Language Institute is to successfully prepare students and profes­
sionals to acquire English proficiency to meet their personal. aca­
demic, and career goals. We are committed to offer classes in a
dynamic, multicultural and effective environment with the most
innovative supportive resources imparted by highly qualified
and competent faculty members: The intermediate levels of IEP
utilize terminology applicable to technical and business writing
to develop proofreading and editing skills relevant to job-related
contexts required for further advancement in the labor force.
The emphasis is on enhancing effective written and oral commu­
nication skills for business applications in the workforce.

The program includes six levels that can be completed within a
year. Each level includes three courses: Reading/Writing, Listen­
ing/Speaking. and Grammar. Classes meet five days a week for
seven weeks; 200 hours of instruction per level.

Intensive English Program
Students who register in this program come from all walks of life,
but primarily working professionals whose study time is limited
by their work schedules and/or other responsibilities. There are
twelve levels in this program and classes are offered during the
day or Saturdays; I 00 hours of instruction per level. Each level
includes three courses: Reading/Writing, Listening/Speaking,
and Grammar.

Placement Exam is needed to register for IEP and
Conversation ESL classes. Call to make appointment
for the exam.
No placement exam needed for Spanish classes.

Full payment is required at time of registration.

Enrollment in fast track requires registration in two
concurrent courses (CRN). Full payment is required at time
of registration prior to the first day of class of first CRN; no full
refunds for either course on or after the first day of the first
class in each Fast Track level. (lnscripci6n y pago de Fast Track
