BRIEF DESCRIPTION / TITLE OF ENHANCEMENT
Remove Grant to CSFA correlation check in FLAIR transactions.
DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS NEED
The work around to process payments with the existing edits is much too time consuming to continue
to operate as it does now.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION
Remove the current edit which causes the “TR58S125270K-CSFA NUMBER MUST BE SAME ON CI AND
GI FILES” condition.
BENEFITS
The current process imports only the first CSFA number listed in FACTS, even though multiple records
exist. When multiple records exist it is because multiple CSFA numbers will be used to partially fund
the specific contract record. Processing the all of the required records should be allowed to occur on
the same workday in FLAIR.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In order to effectively complete the required task, my staff has to go through the following steps. This is an
unacceptable option for processing payments.
DAY 1
1. Post whichever transactions will load in FLAIR on the desired date without errors.
2. Set aside the records which failed for processing on the next workday.
3. Edit the CSFA records on the appropriate contract to delete whichever record is first. This will move the
second CSFA record into the first records place.
4. Add back the deleted record with the same values.
5. Wait for nightly processing.
DAY2
6. Post whichever transactions will now load into FLAIR with the updated CSFA value.
7. Set aside the records which failed again for processing on the next workday.
8. Edit the CSFA records on the appropriate contract to delete whichever record is first. This will move the
second CSFA record into the first records place.
9. Add back the deleted record with the same values. This will need to be completed however many times
is required to post all transactions.
