Adopt a Child Holiday program – donations & gift cards for children who
need holiday gifts. Gift Cards: Walmart, Target or Amazon by Nov. 30th.

Need help for Thanksgiving morning; also could have a home playoff game next
Friday help will be needed. Still need a refrigerator for the Away stand.

Getting ready for the parade this weekend. Help for putting a cart together Sat. at
9:30 a.m. Need help transporting instruments to and from the parade – getting them
off and back on the truck. Castle from show is for sale!

Gave report of student credit earned for various sources – GL Scrip, fundraisers;
payment for marching band fees; Pittsburgh Trip all paid; Mixed Bag, Customized
Slides; Yankee Candles. Charms is up to date. Waiting for Gertrude Hawk
fundraiser.

Income for Oct. $71,735.60. Expenses for Oct. $60,924.09.
KOS - $15,548.83 paid out $8700.71 Profit $6,848.12 – missed the budgeted
amount hoped for of $12,150.00 - missed by $5,301.88

- DVDs for this year – nothing available from MetLife. Peter Boardman is putting
together a DVD of the NPMK season. For sale at $20.00 - $15.00 goes towards
student credit.

Mardi Gras Parade – this Saturday Nov. 20th; report times will be in the bulletin & on
website. NPMK that want to parade come to Wed. and Sat. a.m. practice – can
wear uniforms; need to get music from Mr. Britcher. Hawaii band will wear hoodies
& khakis.

Thanksgiving Football Game – current NPMK can be in the stands with the Alumni
Band for the game. Wear street clothes & stadium coats. E-mailing music to the
alumni – all rah rah music NPMK already knows.

Nominations for Winter Quartermaster – needed for indoor season

There will be quite a few job openings for next year NPMA. Need to start thinking
about filling them.

Question from Indoor Percussion parents about availability of Percussion Director
Fridays and Saturdays. Concerned about communications to parents from director.

Please encourage friends, adults and kids to join the NPMA and NPMK.
Think about ways to recruit membership.
Discussion about NPMK and the Hawaii Band marching together vs. separately.
Hawaii band & 9th grade bands need to hold to expectations at games and parades.
Need more practices before going to Hawaii.
Want to consider opt out fees for requirements for volunteering. Motion made by
Beth Faia to table this discussion. Second by Kelly Faatz.
