PLEASE JOIN US FOR A PARENT YOUTH PROFESSIONAL FORUM
The Department of Health’s Special Kids Network, in partnership with the PA Elks Home
Service Program, will host a Parent Youth Professional Forum (PYPF).
The Forums:
 Serve as a gathering place for families of children and youth with special health care
needs (CYSHCN) and disabilities, community service providers and other stakeholders
 Provide opportunities to discuss overarching issues that concern all children and youth
with any special health care needs and disabilities
 Include time to network with others: Feel free to bring your brochures, business cards,
flyers. Share ideas for future meeting topics!
 Seek to increase awareness of and access to comprehensive information about services
and programs for CYSHCN and disabilities


The In’s and Out’s of Social Security Benefits (SSI & SSDI) and
Long Term Planning. No matter if you are 3 or 30, navigating “the
system” can be difficult. Come hear about how to access state
and federal government benefits.
