IMPORTANT NOTICE
Residents of the North Penn School District
Effective July 1, 2002, the North Penn School District enacted the Earned Income Tax at the rate of one-half percent (.5%).
Berkheimer has been appointed to administer this newly enacted tax.

As of the 1 quarter of 2011, All residents of school district (Hatfield Borough, Hatfield Township, Lansdale Borough,
Montgomery Township, North Wales Borough, Towamencin Township, Upper Gwynedd Township,) are required to
file the full one-percent (1%) Earned Income Tax with our office.
All residents of the Line Lexington section of New Britain Township are required to file the 1.125% Earned Income Tax
with our office. All residents of the Line Lexington section of Hilltown Township are required to file the 1.25% Earned
Income Tax with our office.
All employed residents are required to file an annual return, regardless of whether or not any tax is due.
