The evaluation process is at its core about learning, the learning of students and learning of teachers. Learning
occurs when all who are part of the instructional setting engage with objective standards and appropriate goals
and progress towards high levels of achievement. This goal-setting form is a personal reflection of practice, and
the teacher has the option of sharing or not sharing the results of the Self-Assessment Rubric with the
administration. The Self-Assessment rubric serves as a tool for the goal setting and collaborative conference.
