Course Title: Manufacturing Engineering
Session Title: Career Exploration and Employer Expectations - Part 1
Performance Objective:
After completing Part 1 of this lesson, students will have an understanding of the factors that
affect Manufacturing Engineering, principles of teambuilding, characteristics of strong leaders
and work expectations of employers, to the teacher’s satisfaction.
Specific Objectives:
 Describe how teams function.
 Use teamwork to solve problems.
 Distinguish team roles of leaders and team members.
 Identify employers’ work expectations.
 Discuss Equal Opportunity Law in the workplace.
 Discuss concepts related to safety and health regulations in the workplace.
