Part A)
Write a script that reproduces the results in Figure 6.34. In addition to the two output images shown
your script should produce a third output image that is similar to the first two, but all processing should
be done in the HSI domain for the third image. The script should display the input image in one figure
window and output images in other figure windows. The scripts should save the original image and the
three output images in an imgs_634 subdirectory.
Part B)
Write a script that reproduces Figure 6.37. (You do not need to reproduce the graphs that are in part (b)
of the Figure 6.37.) The script should display the input image in one figure window and output images
in other figure windows. The scripts should save the original image and the two output images in an
imgs_637 subdirectory.
Turn in a printed copies of both scripts. Email the scripts (as attachments) to
richardson.tony@gmail.com. The email subject must contain “EE499 Project 10” and then your name.
