providing for The Continuation of me Governor's Commksion for Women..
W HERE AS, more than half the population of our nation and of this state are women;
WHEREAS,the achievement of these goals can best be accomplished by a Commission &for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the impact of the* objectives in Texas can best be realized by continuing and redirecting the Governor's Commission for Women.
VOW, THEREFORE,I, ~illi'amP. Clements, governor of T-, under the authority vested in me, do hereby
'@he Commission shall make a complete written repoi of their fmdhgs, activities and recommendations to the
agencies of state and local government are hereby dir~toredto cooperate with and assist the Commission in
performance of its duties.
