1104.22 - REGIONAL FORESTERS, STATION DIRECTORS, AREA DIRECTOR, AND
FOREST SUPERVISORS.
1. The Administrative Management Section Head is the designated Directives Manager for
NE and NA. See 1104.4 and 1104.42 for specific responsibilities.
2. The Assistant Director for Administration is responsible for review and approval of all
directives within NE and NA.
3. Assistant Directors, Group Leaders, and Section Heads are responsible for:
a. Timely preparation or revision of supplements for their assigned programs or activities.
b. Technical accuracy of proposed supplements.

3. To understand the directive system objectives and design.
4. To assist writers in writing concise, easy-to-understand directives.
5. To coordinate directive processing to ensure adherence to outlined policies and
procedures.
6. To advise and recommend necessary changes to the Directive System to the Assistant
Director for Administration or Information Management Group Leader.
