Course description & OUTLINE DESCRIPTION: An introducGon to the basic concepts of biology, emphasizing evoluGon as a unifying theme. Topics include cell structure, mitosis and meiosis, DNA structure and funcGon, evoluGon and populaGon and ecosystem ecology. This course is very conceptual with a strong problem-­‐solving approach.
