Jenny Fromme is a 2002 graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and an extensive minor in Music. For this research, she worked with Dr. Mark Fischer, Professor of Physics at the College of Mount St. Joseph and completed this paper as part of her senior research project. This research was also presented at the 19th annual Rose-Hulman Undergraduate Mathematics Conference. Miss Fromme's current mathematical/musical interest is to look for a finite Geometry to model the note patterns employed in Gregorian Chant. She currently lives in Williamsburg, OH and works as a substitute teacher in various school districts in that area. Her current interests include singing (especially in choirs), playing trombone, reading and planning her wedding in October 2002.
