1. Intro- shows the importance of the question and gives your thesis, conclusion, and the logical steps of the analysis that you will use to reach it (and subtitles x, y, & z). (1 page) 2. Literature review- Discusses the relevant authors to the particular question you are addressing, presented as logical categories of how to answer the question. There is a cumulative nature building up to your identification of the knowledge frontier- the place where your paper will venture forth to offer a new contribution. (3-4 pp) 3. Evidence/Data Analysis- Briefly discusses the variables and relationships of interest in the form of sub-hypotheses and how they are working together to answer your thesis question. Then presents the findings in systematic fashion (x,y, & z). This is followed by a discussion of the picture that the different tests together tell. I strongly suggest using tables, figures and graphs to the extent possible. Be very careful about what you can assert here. (5-7 pp) 4. Conclusion- Discusses the importance of your findings for the general topic, overall importance of the contribution, limits of the study, and related needs for further research. (1p)
