INSTITUTE OF COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE, Attention and Cognitive Control Laboratory Job Title: Research and Enterprise executive assistant Salary: Grade 4- Grade 5 (minimum £11.12 per hour) Reports to: Professor Nilli Lavie Role Overview The role holder will support the Head of the Attention and Cognitive Control Laboratory in all aspects of their duties undertaking a wide range of management, planning and organisational and communication responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities of the post The main duties and responsibilities of the post will include: Provide full management support– diary, meeting schedules, handling correspondence, travel arrangements, etc. for the Head of Laboratory. Facilitate effective liaison between Head of Laboratory and other project partners, senior academics and administrators within UCL and other outside bodies (including industry and enterprise). Assist with the write up of reports, presentations and communications. Assist with lab management and project planning, arranging events ‐ meetings, lunches, dinners, seminars, symposia – including organising venues, agenda for the event, and catering arrangements. Dealing with general enquiries / any other tasks assigned by the Head of Laboratory. Undertaking role of meeting secretary as required. Provide and analyse new information related to enterprise projects to the Head of Laboratory as requested. Act as communications co-ordinator - disseminate information in a timely manner through a variety of media. Maintain information on the Laboratory website, as well as other communication channels (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn). Undertake any other duties as advised by the Head of Laboratory. Skills and Ability Excellent time management ability, and ability to prioritise multiple tasks to achieve high standards to tight deadlines.
