School Psychology Acronyms to Learn: What is SASP? Student Affiliates in School Psychology, or SASP, is a graduate student organization, of which KSU School Psychology students are automatically members. SASP works under the guidance of the American Psychological Association (APA), Division 16, and the KSU SASP chapter also recognizes allegiance with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). SASP aims to act as a forum for current School Psychology students to discuss academic and professional issues, as well as facilitate social cohesion within the program. SASP provides opportunities for professional and leadership development, and acts as a vehicle for communication within the department, university, and local community.
