EHHS Global Outreach is Recognized by Local and International Funding Sources

Research & Evaluation Bureau’s Toyota Education Initiatives in STEAM Innovation with Singapore & Ann Arbor Educators

In collaboration with CIIE, the Bureau has been awarded the evaluation of Toyota innovations in STEAM education in an exchange with Ann Arbor and Singapore educators. The multi-disciplinary team from KSU includes Deepa Shanadi, Program Evaluator, Pam Freeman,

Han Zhang, with consultation by Linda Robertson and ————.

Funded by Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), this professional development program for US secondary school educators is designed to support efforts to prepare and inspire an increased number of US students to study and pursue careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and mathematics ) fields. Han Zhang will travel with the Ann Arbor educators to Singapore this summer as the on-site evaluator. The study will determine if this kind of teacher exchange is replicable and scalable

Jennings Grant for Internationalizing CTE Programs in Ohio

CTE faculty member Davison Mupinga is leading a state-wide initiative to train the trainers for internationalization of CTE programs in Ohio. This international project includes study tours to Canada, small grant to school site based teams, and is working closely with Ohio Department of Education.
