PIR Technology Thesensor’ssegmentedlensdividesthefieldofviewintosensorzones,anddetectsthechangesintemperaturethat arecreatedwhenaperson,orpartofapersonassmallasahand,passesintooroutofasensorzone. TheONW-P-1001-DMVallowsthecontroloftwoseparateloadswithoneoccupancysensorswitch. EnergySaverMode–EitherorbothloadsmaybeconfiguredtoturnONmanually.Thedefaultsettingforthesecond loadisManualON.Thisensuresthewallswitchonlyactivatesoneload.Ifbothloadsareonwhenthesensortimes-out, onlytheprimaryloadwillbeactivated.IfthelightswereshutOFFmanually,theunitwillactivatetheprimaryloadonly. InAutomaticONMode,thelightsturnONautomaticallywhenapersonenterstheroom.InManualONMode,thelights areturnedONbypressingtheuniversallyrecognizedlighticonpushbutton.Ineithermode,thelightsstayONaslongas thesensordetectsmotionintheroom.Whentheroomisvacated,thelightsturnOFFautomaticallyafterapresettime delayinterval. Thesensorincludesself-adaptivetechnologythatcontinuallyadjuststoconditionsbyadjustingsensitivityandtime delayinreal-time.Byadjustingsensitivityandtimedelayautomatically,thesensorismaximizingthepotentialenergy savingsthatareavailableintheparticularapplication.
