Installation Instructions for LF2005, L2005 Transformer
and LF2LV Converter Series
•
Wear rubber-soled shoes and work on a sturdy wooden ladder.
•
This fixture must be installed according to the National Electric Code and local building codes.
•
To avoid a hazard to children, account for all parts and destroy all packing materials.
•
Do not install in damp or wet locations.
•
Do not install luminaire assembly closer than 6 inches from any curtain or similar combustible material.
•
Read carefully for your protection and save all instructions.
•
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire and electrical shock, use only fixtures and fittings intended for use
with Halo LF or L SERIES TRACK SYSTEM ONLY.

There are no user serviceable parts inside. Opening unit will void warranty. Contact point of purchase for service.
Low Voltage Caution
Dimming:
Low voltage lampholders with solid state transformers require proper dimming equipment. An improper dimmer
may cause damage to the transformer and shorten lamp life. Consult a dimmer manufacturer for dimmer
recommendations.

The LF2005/LF2LV SERIES track transformer/converter can be used with Halo “LF” Series Flexible Track only.
Step 1. Open CONNECTOR COVER by pulling downward on the CONNECTOR SLEEVE and raising CONNECTOR
COVER.
Step 2. Hang unit on the track so the contacts are facing the intended circuit.

Note: For LF2005 only, to access the other circuit, rotate the unit 180 degrees.
Step 3. Move converter or transformer into position and close CONNECTOR COVER until it snaps into position.
To remove unit from track:
Note: Allow unit to cool before removing from the track.
Step 1. Open CONNECTOR COVER by pulling downward on the CONNECTOR SLEEVE and raising CONNECTOR
COVER.

The L2005 series transformer can only be used with Halo "L" series track
An adjustable contact allows you to select the circuit position. Use a narrow blade screwdriver to adjust the contact (Fig 4).
Lift of lower the contact until it touches the upper or lower plastic stops of the contact assembly. To use with Halo or Lazer
by Halo single circuit track, the adjustable contact must be in the circuit #1 or lower position.
Step 1. Insert transformer into track:

Step 2. Depress and hold THUMB LATCH.

Step 3. Rotate power supply 90 degrees so the POLARITY LINE on transformer aligns with the POLARITY LINE on the
track.
Step 4. Release THUMB LATCH allowing the transformer to lock into position.
To remove fixture from track:

Step 2. Rotate power supply 90 degrees.
Step 3. Remove fixture from track.
