As shown in the mien most of the wood structural members are poles, which are available in many sections of Oregon. Where poles are not avail- able regular commercial timbers of coulvalent sizes can be used. The use of old rheels fror a mower or wheels of similar size from some other machine makes it much easier to transport the stacker from place to place than if skids alone are used. The use of two single blocks on the stacker base and one on the swing boom gives a mechanical advantage of three to one in favor of the tower, thus reducing the amount of pull necessary to lift the load. Essential specificetions arid dimensions are given in the plans on the following pages.
