DESCRIPTION
The Paralux III 1' x 1' Compact Parabolic brings together rugged construction and compact fluorescent lamp sources (PL, Curvalume or
Biaxial) with an efficient, aluminum parabolic louver assembly for light
control and design aesthetics.

The 1' x 1' Compact Parabolic is an excellent low brightness, decor
pleasing luminaire for accent, corridor, foyer and small office lighting
applications. The 1' x 1' is an ideal complement to any standard parabolic installation in plaster, drywall, or ceiling tile.

formed code gauge, prime cold
rolled steel. Formed housing
stiffeners for added strength.
Captive lampholder brackets.
Fully enclosed lampholder
wiring permits easy lamp
replacement. Dual purpose,
contoured reflectors for each
lamp combination provides
optimum lighting distribution
and conceals wiring and ballast
compartments. Snap -in access
plate is located on back of
housing for wiring convenience. End plates, securely
attached with tabs and screws.
Heavy duty adjustable mounting brackets are preset at the
factory and allow use of 1/2"
EMT conduit, lathing channels
or bar hangers for installation.
Ballast are CBM/ETL Class “P” and
positively secured by mounting bolts.
Pressure lock lampholders. UL/CUL
listed. Suitable for damp locations.
E…Louver
3" deep high performance louver technology. Die formed of
semi-specular, low iridescent,
vertical grain, anodized aluminum. (Standard) Finish is
anodic oxide coating. Accurate
parabolic cell are held in place
with interlocking feature. True
cut mitered corners, integrated
light seal around entire perimeter of louver. Louver retained
by torsion springs and can be
easily removed. Louver Trim is
attractively styled with mitered
aluminum corners and is available with white (standard) or
satin aluminum (optional) finish.
C…Finish
Painted after fabrication. Multistage,
iron phosphate pretreatment
ensures maximum bonding and rust
inhibitor. Lighting grade, baked
white finish.
D…Ref lector Finish
Internal reflector surface, electrostatically applied baked white polyester
powder finish. Multistage cleaning
cycle, iron phosphate coating with
rust inhibitor. Conveyorized application and baking time accurately controlled at an elevated temperature.
