DESCRIPTION
The TPX Thin Profile Exit Series combines the strength of die cast
aluminum, the profile of recessed design and the superior aesthetics of
Sure-Lites LED technology to create an exit with optimum versatility and
aesthetics. The TPX Series faceplate assembly is only 3/4" thick, yielding a
sign with minimal off-wall protrusion without requiring the large wall
opening of a fully recessed exit. The TPX Series also includes a Remote
Powered Exit which can be powered from a TPX Series AC Only or Self
Powered Exit; the Remote Powered Exit is ideal for applications requiring
two single face surface mount exits in close proximity.

Lamps
The Thin Profile Exit Family is offered with
energy saving LED lamps that offer extremely
long-life with very low input wattage. LED lamps
are available in either red or green. LED lamps
have an estimated life of 25 years or more
eliminating the need for any lamp maintenance
under normal conditions.

installations which may be subject to signficant

"2C" Option

are molded in for easy conversion to directional
sign. Custom designed centerpin Torz tamperresistant screws attach on the faceplate sides,
All of the standard TPX Series Exits have been
designed such that only one AC power source
can supply power to the exit at any one time.
The "2C" Option enables the TPX Series to
operate per the requirements of UL 924 when
connected simultaneously to both normal and
emergency power circuits (two circuit operation
- UL Category FTBR - Emergency Lighting and
Power Equipment). All standard TPX Series Exits
are intended to be connected to a single source
of power which meets the requirements of UL
924 and are UL Listed in Category FWBO - Exit
Fixtures. The "2C" option is a factory assembly
change which alters the standard TPX Series Exit
such that it complies with and is UL Listed
under the FTBR Category. This option should
only be used for exits which are intended to be
connected simultaneously to normal and
emergency power circuits.
