General Elective
*MATH 11010 (Algebra for Calculus) and MATH 11022 (Trigonometry) are prerequisite
courses for MATH 12002. For students who cannot bypass these courses, they should be
applied with 3 hours toward the “Additional Kent Core” requirement and 2 hours toward a
“General Elective”.

**Elementary I and II Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese each require 5 credit hours. Choosing
these courses will reduce your General Electives by 2 hrs.
***It is recommended that CS 23021 (CSI: Programming and Problem Solving) be substituted for CS 10061. One credit hour of CS 23021 (a 4-hr. course) may be applied towards
the required Physics Electives.
