The total import from other states was 85.5 million cubic feet while the total export was 75.2 million cubic feet. The net import was 1.7 percent of the total roundwood production in Texas. PRIMARY FOREST PRODUCTS ♦ Production of primary wood products included: ♦ 1.51 billion board feet of lumber, a decrease of 4.6 percent. ♦ 2.73 billion square feet of structural panel products, down 16.3 percent. ♦ 2.68 million tons of paper and paperboard, down 10.3 percent. GROWTH-REMOVAL RELATIONSHIP ♦ Removal of pine growing stock was 86.2 percent of the estimated growth. ♦ Removal of hardwood growing stock was 58.2 percent of the estimated growth. ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ 2 Texas Forest Resource Harvest Trends - 2001 Table 1.
