The total import from other states was 80.4 million cubic feet while the total export was 106.3 million cubic feet. The net export was 3.9 percent of the total roundwood production (666.7 million cubic feet) in Texas. PRIMARY FOREST PRODUCTS ♦ Production of primary wood products included: ♦ 1.65 billion board feet of lumber, an increase of 9.4 percent from last year. ♦ 2.82 billion square feet of structural panel products, up 3.1 percent from 2001. ♦ 2.73 million tons of paper and paperboard, up 1.8 percent from 2001. GROWTH-REMOVAL RELATIONSHIP ♦ Removal of pine growing stock was 93.4 percent of the estimated growth. ♦ Removal of hardwood growing stock was 67.5 percent of the estimated growth. ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ 2 Texas Forest Resource Harvest Trends - 2002 Table 1.
