To profile internally and externally health-related social science research at the
University of Warwick
•
To support and foster individual and institutional capacity in health-related social
science research in SHSS and the Faculty of Social Sciences
•
To link with staff in other Faculties of the University (particularly WMS) to develop
multidisciplinary health-related research with a strong social science component
•
To develop user and carer involvement in teaching and learning and research
Our Strategy
•
Profiling health-related social science research externally and within the
University through events, networking and media activities eg Update
publication, IoH web portal, seminars
•
Develop and support new innovative interdisciplinary research with internal
and external collaborators, both within the UK and internationally
•
Providing development opportunities for research leadership and research
management to academic staff and research fellows
•
Provide support to the health-related social science teaching in Warwick
Medical School and within SHSS
•
Involving PhD students as part of research apprenticeship
