Deaf Education Early Childhood Certificate Requirements: Revised 4/25/2011 Council on Education of the Deaf Certificate Students must have completed, or are in the process of completing (concurrently) teaching licensure in Deaf Education, or are completing a masters degree program in a related field. All students must complete the prerequisite courses, as listed. Students enrolled in teaching licensure course must complete the indicated course in Special Education and Deaf Education in addition to the Early Childhood courses.
