Electrical Contractor, Thank you for requesting information regarding the startup and training for a lighting control system by Eaton’s Cooper Controls. The enclosed information should be reviewed and completed immediately to ensure timely completion of your project. Startup appears as a line item on the Bill of Material for this project, and the system will be completely field-tested by a factory-authorized service person within the time allotted (see reference document on page 5 for full description of system startup and training). Complete all related documents and return via fax at 800-954-7016 or via email to ControlTechSupport@Eaton.com Eaton requires 21 days notice from receipt of completed paperwork in order to schedule startup. For All Systems: Please review the following items: • Pre-startup checklist. This confirms that the project is ready for startup. • All electrical services and other hardware pertaining to the lighting project should be completely installed at the time of the startup. A complete installation means that all loads have been tested for continuity and freedom of short circuits, and that all control wiring is connected and terminated. We will need access to all controlled areas of the building and the assistance of a project electrician to check out the system. • Please insure that all persons involved with the maintenance and operation of the system can be present for training and instruction. o 1 hour - hardware demonstration and familiarization. o 1-2 hours – software demonstration and familiarization. • Relay and Dimming Panel Forms. Please complete the appropriate system worksheet per panel, with the desired programming for each panel. Link to Greengate Relay Panel Form. Link to iLumin Dimming Panel Form. For Greengate Systems: • If the system includes GDS switches, please complete the GDS Switch Station Form to record the desired programming for these switches. Please indicate which panel the switch is wired to, as well as the reference number of the switch, and which relays each button should control. If there are special programming requests such as after-hours timers or other special interactions not defined in the sequence of operations, please also indicate this. • If the system includes an Ethernet Interface Module (EIM) for remote connection/diagnostics, please complete the Remote Connection Form. Please give this form to the Network Administrator, so that they may provide us with the necessary network information. • If the system includes an Automation Interface Module (AIM) for BMS integration, please complete the BMS Integration Form to include the information that will allow us to configure this device. The desired communications parameters/settings are on the second page of this worksheet and should be provided by the BMS integrator. • If the system includes VisionTouch Software on site please provide the following: o AUTOCAD drawings in electronic format which depict the backgrounds you desire for this graphical screen interface. o Indication of which zones you wish to control. For iLumin Systems: • • • • If the system includes a SI-2-NA for A/V integration, the integrator should be present at the time of commissioning to ensure connectivity at the time of commissioning. If the system includes a SI-2-NA-CP for partitioning, please provide a layout of the room/s to be partitioned and how the areas are to be configured (see example for clarification). Include what devices are controlling each area i.e. occupancy sensor, photocell, TSC, etc. If the system includes a Control Interface Module (CIM) for BMS integration, please complete the BMS Integration Form. The desired communications parameters/settings are on the second page of this worksheet and should be provided by the BMS integrator. If the system includes an Ineo or Revio keypads , please complete the Ineo/Revio Switch Station Form to indicate the required programming for each device. STARTUP WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED UNTIL THIS INFORMATION IS RECEIVED.
