The Jaylum LED is a timeless direct/indirect pendant featuring crisp
modern lines and the latest solid state lighting and driver technology. This
highly efficient luminaire will accompany almost any décor while meeting
today’s increasingly stringent energy requirements. The Jaylum series
may be mounted individually or continuously with 4 and 8 foot modular
sections and is suited for open offices, private offices, conference rooms,
reception areas, and educational facilities. Companion wall mount and
sconce fixtures are also available to create cohesive architectural spaces.

Construction
Low profile housing and integral gear
tray constructed from die-formed
20 gauge cold rolled steel forming a
8-1/2” x 1-1/2” profile. Fixture weight
= 3.5 lb/ft.
Shielding
Bottom lens is high light transmission
0.118” thick clear microlinear
prismatic acrylic or a high light
transmission 0.08” thick frosted
acrylic material.
Reflectors
Reflector pan is painted with a high
reflectance white powder coat finish.
Electrical
Long-Life LED system coupled with
electronic driver to deliver optimal
performance. LEDs are available in
3000K, 3500K or 4000K with a typical
CRI ≥ 85. Standard drivers are 0-10
volt continuous dimming that work
with any 0-10V control/dimmer.
Or, specify the Digital Addressable
End Caps
Standard endcaps are rounded die
cast aluminum and mechanically
attached flush to end of fixture
without exposed fasteners. End cap
adds 1/2” at each end.
Lighting Interface (DALI) drivers;
for use with Fifth Light controls.

Mounting
“Y” aircraft cable mounts on
4’-0” and 8’-0” centers. Refer to
installation instructions for various
ceiling interface details. Minimum
mounting height from ceiling to
top of fixture is 8”.
Finish
Fixture housings are high
reflectance white using
electrostatically applied polyester
powder coat paint.

TECHNICAL NOTES
1. Lumen values vary depending on color temperature and lens option. Refer to photometric data for specific lumen values.
2. Dimming wires come standard in all LED fixtures but can be capped in the field for standard switched operation.
3. When dimming is selected, a separate drop for low voltage control wires supplied as standard. A single drop may be supplied upon request.
4. For delivered lumens, take lumens per watt of desired fixture and multiply by 12 watts (100 lp/W x 12 = 1200 lumens delivered).
5. Standard row configurations over 8’ consist of 4’ and 8’ luminaires.
6. Must be used in conjunction with a DALI control system. For a complete listing of Fifth Light Technology products and other solutions from Cooper Controls, visit www.coopercontrol.com.
7. Integral sensor works only with 0-10V driver and is factory prewired to the driver for stand-alone control.
8. Dust Cover cannot be combined with DLED kit.
