INSTALLATION - SINGLE HEAD UNITS (P/N 43958)
WARNING
De-energize circuit before relamping or working on fixture
A) Single fixtures (Figure 1) are supplied from factory fully assembled with
the exception of the lamp and glass globe. To facilitate wire connections,
the globe support can be disassembled from the fixture body by
loosening the thumbscrew. NOTE: A safety chain is provided attaching
the globe support ring to the base of the fixture body to assist with
assembly and re-lamping.
(B) Install the fixture housing and pull supply wires to connect with wire
leads inside fixture housing using methods that comply with NEC, CEC
and any local codes.
(C) Re-Install the globe support and tighten the thumbscrew securely to hold
support in place.
(D) Install lamp into lamp socket. Place the globe over the fixture body and
thread until globe seats tightly against gasket.
(E) If fixture has been ordered with optional wireguard (suffix-“GG”), place
the wireguard assembly over the globe until it seats into fixture housing.
Tighten the 4 thumbscrews provided with wireguard to hold it in place.
(F) To install or replace the lamp, it is not necessary to remove the globe.
Re-lamping is easily accomplished by loosening the thumbscrew and
removing globe support ring with globe together as an assembly.

housing and pull wires through bottom for connection to power supply
wires using methods that comply with NEC, CEC and any local codes.
