INSTALLATION - SINGLE HEAD UNITS
WARNING
De-energize circuit before relamping or working on fixture
(A) Single fixtures as supplied are fully assembled with the
exception of the lamp. To install or replace the lamp (7), remove
the clamp band (5) and globe (4). The globe (4) can be
supported by the supplied attached tether. Inspect o-ring (2) and
other internal components and replace as necessary.
(B) Assemble the locknut (13) to the mounting column (20) (see
figure 1) with the notched locking surface on the top side and
threaded on to a depth of one inch. Connect wires (9, 10 and if GR or -CSA version, item 11) to the appropriate source. (NOTE:
white wire (9) is connected to the lamp socked shell (8)).
(C) For P/N 40940, position the fixture on the mounting column (20)
(See figure 1) and loosen the three binding screws (6) half a
turn. Thread only the globe support hub (12) (to avoid twisting
wires) to full thread depth and secure the locknut (13). With the
globe support (1) fully bottomed on the hub (12), tighten all three
binding screws (6).

(D) For P/N 50033, insert 90° elbow (14) into globe support (1) (see
figure 2). With the globe support (1) fully bottomed on the elbow
(14), tighten all three binding screws (6).

INSTALLATION - DOUBLE FIXTURE P/N 50021
(A) Lamp and globe assembly is the same as the single fixture
procedure.
(B) Remove housing cover (18) from condulet housing (17).
Position one light fixture at either end of condulet housing
and feel lead wires into the center section of housing.
Thread light fixture into end of housing as far as it will go,
aligning light fixture in a vertical position. Do this for both
fixtures then re-assemble cover (18) to condulet housing
(17).
