Biography of Paul LARBEY
Vice President : Next Generation Mobile Access
Alcatel-Lucent : Wireless Networks Product Division
PAUL LARBEY heads up the Next Generation Mobile Access Unit within AlcatelLucent’s Wireless Networks Product Division. In this role Paul is responsible for
the management, development and delivery of the LTE and WiMAX product
lines.
Prior to this Paul held the role of Vice President W-CDMA Business Development
& Strategy. In this role Paul was responsible for defining the strategic direction
of the group, the five year business plan and providing marketing and sales
support.
Previously Paul held a number of product & offer management, systems
engineering and development positions including Director of UMTS Portfolio
Management for Lucent Technologies' Mobility Solutions Group.
Paul started his career in software development and pre/post Sales Support
with Cray Communications and joined Lucent Technologies in 1996 to work on
spread spectrum based systems.
Paul is based out of Swindon, UK and holds a first class degree in Electronics
from the University of Durham, England.
