Eaton Expands Product Portfolio and Middle East Capabilities to Address
Expansion in Global Industrial Applications
HIGHLAND, Ill. … Power management company Eaton today reaffirmed its commitment to
the Middle East by announcing additional product and manufacturing capabilities available in
the area from its B-Line business. This includes a significant investment in its Dammam,
Saudi Arabia, facility to help reduce lead time and streamline product delivery, allowing the
business to locally serve its global oil and gas customers in the region.
“We’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth in the Middle East and Eaton is making it a top
priority to support local needs by expanding both the range of products and services
available to our global customers, as well as investing in the people and resources of the
region,” said Ashraf Yehia, general manager, Eaton’s B-Line business. “This will allow the
company to serve as a complete cable management supplier, offering customers everything
from cable ladders and cable trays to fittings and accessories.”
The B-Line business in now offering a complete line of metallic perforated and solid bottom
cable trays designed specifically for the needs of the Middle East region. Suitable for lightduty cable runs, these cable tray options are available with side-rail heights ranging from 25
to 100 millimeters (mm) and feature multiple flange and thickness options, including the
Aramco standard outward-facing flange. Products are available in widths of up to 900 mm
and can be used with optional covers to provide added protection from environmental factors.

In addition, the B-Line business will continue to offer customers a complete line of National
Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA) and International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC) metallic ladders. Products are available in aluminum spans of up to 12 meters and are
designed to offer users savings of up to 66 percent compared to traditional cable ladders.
Also available are glass reinforced polyester (GRP) ladders and cable trays, highly durable
solutions built to withstand corrosive environments. These products feature application
specific resins, including options designed to dissipate static charge in hazardous locations.
