Issue – Poor utilization of rentals
Solution – Be aware of this problem. Need to coordinate w/ Ground Support – problem areas, staging areas, helibase
Issue – Off road use – not authorized by rental companies
Solution – Just be aware of this and the costs incurred can be significant
Issue – Unauthorized rentals
Solution – When ordering overhead, include statement as to whether or not they are authorized to rent a vehicle. Check license!!!

Resource Tracking on Incidents – Smart Cards
Issue – Many systems have been developed and tested yet there is no system being used
Solution

Establish a credit card or something similar to hotel card key system



