1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Salem Campus enrollment for the Fall 12 Term. The Salem Campus experienced a 7.12% decrease in student headcount;
1,879 students in Fall 12 compared to 2,023 students in Fall 11 for a net decrease of 144 students. Undergraduate enrollment decreased by 6.94% (-140 students) and
graduate enrollment decreased by 80% (-4 students).
Student FTE decrease by 2.90%; the Salem Campus generated 34.67 less FTE compared to Fall 11. Undergraduate FTE decreased by 2.84% (-33.93 FTE) and graduate
FTE decreased by 69.16% (-0.74 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 9.28 compared to 8.89 in Fall 11. Graduate MUL is 5.00 compared to last year's 3.20 and the campus MUL is 9.28 compared to
8.88 last year.
