1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Salem Campus enrollment for the Spring 13 Term. The Salem Campus experienced a 2.48% decrease in student headcount;
1,923 students in Spring 13 compared to 1,972 students in Spring 12 for a net decrease of 49 students. Undergraduate enrollment decreased by 2.24% (-44 students) and
graduate enrollment decreased by 100% (-5 students).
Student FTE decrease by 3.43%; the Salem Campus generated 39.07 less FTE compared to Spring 12. Undergraduate FTE decreased by 3.38% (-38.47 FTE) and graduate
FTE decreased by 100% (-0.60 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 8.57 compared to 8.67 in Spring 12. Graduate MUL is 0.00 compared to last year's 1.80 and the campus MUL is 8.57 compared
to 8.65 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.
